It's quite sad that this year I didn't manage to see a lot of Julie. Hence the reason why we set a date to see each other last weekend.
She was supposed to arrive around 11 pm but since it was AA what would you excpect? Flight delay and all which resulted her not being able to go to the hotel at the promised time. Yes, it was like Beijing all over again when I arrived one day earlier than her.
The hotel room was fantastic. No idea why the receptionist upgraded my room so in the end I got a 2-room apartment. Which is quite ridiculous since there would only be the 2 of us there.

I thought ok it would be quite scary staying in a big room but then my house is bigger and I stay there alone fine so there. *Konon trying to give a pep talk to myself heheh
Early in the morning, Julie arrived and off we went to Sogo. We promised to meet Amalina n Syana there. Used lrt for the ride.
Don't like the idea that they are using this for the token. Come on, this is easier to lose I think. Why made a backward decision?
Anyway, since we arrived early we had a go first with the karaoke room.
Screen touch la konon. But it was a hassle since you need to move to the front to key in the songs of your choice. Leceh.
Then the girls came. Honestly, it was like it was our first time singing together. Malu-malu la konon hahh But of coz it got better.
But I don't like the service. The workers kept interrupting us and when they came into our room, straight away switched on the lights. What kind of manners are these?
Sibuk je asked us to order whatever not. We knew that we had to order but since the other two had not arrived we decided not to order first. But noooo kept on barging in into the room. Bongok betul.
And then there was a sudden screen off and a worker came in to say the time was up. I mean, couldn't you say it nicely?
Back in the other country where karaoke is quite famous, 10 minutes before time, they would call us to remind us that the time was nearly finishing. And they asked whether we wanted to continue. Ini tak.

So many things you have to learn ok. Jangan nak berlagak ini dah cukup bagus. Yang terbaik konon. Shit. I've experienced much better.
However, I took comfort that I managed to see people that I miss. People that I should see more frequently. One of the things that I will try to improve next year is the frequency of this kind of meetings :)
